1. 7-Day Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial for all new subscribers. During this trial period:

  • You have full access to all features of your selected plan
  • You will not be charged until the trial period ends
  • You can cancel at any time during the trial with no charges
  • No refund is necessary if you cancel during the free trial period

2. Refund Eligibility

14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with our service after your trial period, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of your first paid subscription charge. You may request a full refund within this period.

Conditions for Refund Eligibility

  • The refund request must be made within 14 days of your first payment
  • You must provide your account email address or subscription ID
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
  • Only the first payment is eligible for refund (subsequent renewals are not covered by this guarantee)

3. Non-Refundable Situations

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription renewals after the first billing cycle
  • Cancellations made after the 14-day refund period
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
  • Services that have been actively used throughout the entire billing period after the refund window

4. Subscription Cancellations

How Cancellations Work

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • You will retain full access to the service until your paid period expires
  • No refunds are provided for mid-cycle cancellations after the 14-day refund window
  • No charges will occur after your subscription expires

Reactivating Your Subscription

If you cancel your subscription and wish to return:

  • You can reactivate at any time
  • A new 7-day free trial is not available for returning customers
  • Your previous data and settings may be retained based on our data retention policy

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the eligible 14-day period:

  1. Log in to your account and go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click "Request Refund" or contact our support team at support@commentby.com
  3. Include your account email address and briefly explain your reason
  4. Our team will process your request within 1-2 business days

6. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund is approved:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days to appear in your account
  • PayPal: 2-5 business days to appear in your account
  • Other Payment Methods: Processing times vary by payment provider

The actual time for funds to appear depends on your financial institution's processing policies.

7. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades

Upgrades

  • When upgrading to a higher-tier plan, you will be charged the prorated difference
  • The new plan takes effect immediately
  • Your billing date remains the same

Downgrades

  • When downgrading to a lower-tier plan, the change takes effect at the next billing cycle
  • No refunds or credits are provided for the current billing period
  • You retain access to your current plan features until the billing cycle ends

8. Failed Payments and Account Suspension

  • If a payment fails, we will attempt to process it again
  • After multiple failed attempts, your account may be suspended
  • No refunds are provided for periods when your account was suspended due to payment failure
  • Reactivating a suspended account requires clearing any outstanding balance

9. Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in:

  • Immediate termination of your account and access to the service
  • Loss of all data associated with your account
  • Permanent ban from future use of our service
  • Inability to receive refunds for any remaining subscription time

If you have a billing dispute, please contact us first so we can resolve it promptly.

10. Fair Use Policy

Our refund policy is intended for customers who genuinely want to try our service. We reserve the right to refuse refunds to customers who:

  • Have repeatedly requested refunds across multiple accounts
  • Have violated our Terms of Service
  • Show patterns of abuse of our refund policy
